Boudoir Photographer Pittsburgh, Why I specialize, The GFE Boudoir

I have been asked what else I shoot. This is it. All boudoir all day. I get met with lots of blank stares. Other photographers ask me why. Non photographers want to know why I don't shoot everything. The truth is, I don't think everyone is good at everything. I love placing all of my efforts into one field. I want to be the best I can be at what I do. I study bodies, I study lighting, I study emotions, I study body language. I happen to take the privilege of working with a woman's body very seriously. Speaking for myself, I would't want to share any my physical insecurities with a photographer who primarily shoots newborn babies. Naked babies and naked moms are two wildly different types of bodies. Each beautiful and wonderful; but as different as can be. I specialize because I seek out specialists in my life. If I want a nose job, I am not calling my PCP.

 Spreading myself to thin wouldn't serve my clients. I know my strengths and weaknesses. The Girlfriend Experience Boudoir isn't just me!! We have also have a staff makeup artist and retoucher. My strength is photography. We all know how amazing Dessa is at styling! We recently added a retoucher to the studio because I couldn't do everything behind the scenes, shoot and perfectly hand edit each image. So those stretch marks, acne, scars, cellulite, wrinkles...any of the beasts that have us convinced we are not total babes; will never see the light of day in your images.
